50% deposit starts the jobWe begin the same day the deposit lands, and keep you updated while we work.
Delivery, then the balanceYou receive the result and the records. The remaining 50% closes the job.

Terms in short

What we take, and how it runs.

There is no list of services on this page that we refuse to do. Everything is read by a person and evaluated on its own merits — the strange ones included, and often first.

Scope. Company set-up, bookings, itineraries, research, sourcing, translation, documents — and the grey zones in between. Requests other desks turn down often reach us. We read all of them, and we answer all of them.

Two lines we do not cross: harm to a third person, and anything involving a real minor. Outside of those, nothing is off the table — if you are unsure whether your request is something we handle, ask and find out.

Pricing. Evaluation is free. Each job is quoted as a fixed price before work starts, and the quote is what you pay. Deposit 50%, balance on delivery.
Discretion. Requests, files and client identities stay with the desk. We do not publish, resell or discuss client work. Discretion is part of the service.

FAQ

Questions we get first.

Is there anything you won't take on?

Two things: harm to a third person, and anything involving a real minor. Beyond that we would rather read the request than guess at it. Some we take, some we price, some we decline with the reason — but you always get a written answer within 24 hours.

Do I need to be a company or can I write as an individual?

Individuals are welcome. Many of our jobs come from travellers, researchers, founders and families. There is no minimum size to a request.

Will this stay between us?

Yes. We do not publish what we do for clients, we do not name them, and we do not discuss a job with anyone who is not part of it. If a job needs an outside partner, you hear about it before we bring them in.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer or an international transfer service, agreed in the quote. 50% deposit before we start, 50% on delivery. We send a written record of what was done with every job.

I'm not sure my request is realistic. Should I still ask?

Yes. Half the value of a local desk is telling you early that something is not possible, or that there is a cheaper way. Evaluation costs you nothing but an email.

What if you can't help?

You get an honest answer within 24 hours, and often a pointer to who can. We prefer a clear no to a vague maybe.

Can we talk instead of emailing?

A call or a meeting can be arranged once the job is scoped. The desk runs on email first, so everything that matters stays written down.
